Curuzu Cuaita, located in the Corrientes Region in the north-east of Argentina, is located close to the border with Uruguay. The city is built on an extremely fertile and wooded terrain, where many various streams and rivers combine. San Martin Square is bordered by many cafes and is considered the meeting place of the city. Belgrano Square, equipped with old trees, a church and various sculptures, has a peaceful and calm atmosphere and is also a wonderful place to visit. General Paz Park is another nice activity area, hosting a variety of events, shows and concerts, including a small pond and many ducks. On the other hand, Municipal Mita Rori Park, which is especially preferred for families with children, also has a zoo, a children's playground, picnic area, walking paths and a pond filled with lively and colorful fish.
